Phd Student, Ecology
Melanie Berger is working as liaison between the NE, NC, NW, and PI RISCC groups as a VSFS intern. She is a dual PhD student at SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry, where she studies bat ecology, and MPA student at Syracuse University’s Maxwell School of Public Affairs and Citizenship. She has a B.S. in Biology: Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from Brown University and a Master of Conservation Biology from the University of New South Wales. Her background has mostly been focused on wildlife conservation work within New York and Florida.
